PS 230 Hosted Team Tournament
Tournament Details:
* Full Day of Child Care, Pizza Lunch Included.
* Opened to all individuals, schools, and teams in Brooklyn.
* In keeping with the safety expectations of PS 230, no parents will be allowed in the building.
* Parents can drop off at 9am, and kids will have an immersive camp-like experience with their teams and coaches.
* The Event will be capped at 350 registrations & registrations close the night before, at 6pm Saturday.
* Children will be monitored at all times by ICN Staff
* Double Accelerated Pairing for Round 1
* 3 Rounds with No Elimination
* Individual prizes: Top 10 Trophies &a Medals (2.5 pts) per each section.
* Team prizes Top 5 teams per section
* We will use LIVE USCF rating to pair the event. All players must play in their designated Grade sections.
* Cheese Pizza Lunch will be provided
* Parents can send nut-free lunch and snack as desired.
*ALL ICN EVENTS ARE NUT FREE
* All sections are USCF rated and all players are required to have an active and valid USCF membership. If you are not yet a USCF member, you can register at the below link.

Registration:
There will be no onsite registration. Registration will close at 6 PM the night before.
Sections: Players will be grouped by rating, so each competitor can face off against peers of similar skill and experience.
K – 3rd grade, U 300 or P3 – Novice (G/45 d5)
K – 5th grade, U 700 – Advancing (G/45 d5)- Notation Required
K – 12th grade, U 1000 – Intermediate (G/45 d5) – Notation Required
K – 12th grade, 1000+ – Championship (G/45 d5) – Notation Required
K – 12th grade, 1500+ – Quads (G/45 d5) – Notation Required
Rules & Schedule:
Playing hall will be in the cafeteria
3 Rounds, G/45, D5
9:00 AM – Arrive in Team Room
9:30 AM – 1st Round
11:00 AM – 2nd Round
Lunch in between the round
2:00 PM – 3rd Round
3:00 PM – Award Ceremony will be held inside the auditorium
