Entry Fee: $55.00 if received online by January 5, 2026 $65 thereafter, $75 January 10, 2026, $79 tournament day and on-site.

NOVICE – Grades PreK-2 Under 600 G/25; d/5

ELEMENTARY – Grades PreK-6 Under 500 G/25; d/5

RESERVE – Grades PreK-9 Under 800 G/35; d/5

ADVANCED – Grades PreK-12 Under 1000 G/40; d/5

CHAMPIONSHIP- PreK-12 Under 1400 G/40; d/5

Under 1800 SECTION-$$$ CASH Prizes G/55; d/5 → 3 rounds only for this section. Adults Included!

Round one begins at 10:00AM. Rounds 2-4 will begin as soon as the previous round has finished.

Please Bring Chess Clock if you have one. Boards & Pieces supplied.

• On-site registration: 9:00 – 9:30 AM. Late entrants may not be paired for the first round.
• The playing site at Manhattan Day School is a kosher facility and therefore food cannot be brought into the building. Pizza for sale onsite!

INDIVIDUAL PRIZES

• Trophies to top 15 in all sections
• HIGH SCORER TROPHY TO ALL WHO SCORE 2 POINTS AND DO NOT WIN A PLACE TROPHY
• ENGRAVED CHESS MEDAL TO ALL OTHERS featuring the name and date of the tournament on the back
• U 1800 Section Cash Prizes: 60% of entry fees returned as prizes – 1st $25%, 2nd 20%, Top U 1600 15%

TEAM PRIZES

• Trophies to top 4 Teams in All Sections.
• The top 4 scorers from the same school in the same section make up the team score. Minimum 2 players.

 1/2 point Bye Requests (2 maximum) A bye is a request to not be paired for a particular round, but to remain in the event for all other rounds and still receive 1/2 point credit for not playing which will add to your final score.
