Open to players rated 400 and above only
2. U600 (USCF-rated)
3. Development (Unrated)
Ideal for beginners; USCF membership not required
Eligibility is based on the February USCF rating
TIME CONTROL
Quad: 3 rounds – G/45, d5
(Bonus: A 4th round—rated but not counted toward prize money—
for quads in which the top rated player is below 1200.)
U600: 5 rounds – G/25, d5
Development: 6 rounds – G/15, d5
ENTRY FEE
FREE early registration for players rated 1600+ | HALF PRICE for siblings / adult players
$50 by 3/1 | $55 (3/2-3/11) | $60 (3/12–11:59pm 3/14) | $65 on-site
PRIZE
Quad: $40 to 1st place in each quad.
U600 & Development: Trophies for top 3; Medals for 2.5+ points

U600: 12:15pm/1:15pm/2:15pm/3:15pm/4:00pm (~ +/- 30 minutes)
Development: 1:00pm/1:40pm/2:20pm/3:00pm/3:40pm/4:20pm (~ +/- 30 minutes)

Cancellation: $15 fee by 3/5 for credit only. Section change: $10 for after registration
Onsite registration: Opens 15 minutes before and closes at 5 minutes before round 1
Check-in required: Please arrive 10 minutes early or you may not be paired for round 1
Equipment Provided: Chess sets, boards, clocks and notation sheets
