Details:
- This is a USCF Event a USChess ID is required to register.($20/year for youth member)
- All registration must be made online on our website. Register below.
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the tournament. First round starts at 1PM. Your clock will start running once round 1 starts.
- Open to all K-12 Students
- Boards, chess pieces and scoresheet will be provided. Please bring your chess clock.
Game Play:
- 6 Rounds Rapid SS (Swiss System) | Time Control: G/15;d5 (Game in 15 minutes, 5-second delay)
- This is Quick Rated and not Regular rating rated tournament Regular rating will not be affected. The higher of the regular or quick ratings will be used for pairing purpose.
- 2 half point bye allowed.

- Round1 start at 1:00PM
- Round 2 start at 1:45PM
- Round 3 start at 2:30PM
- Round 4 start at 3:15PM
- Round 5 start at 4:00PM
- Round 6 start at 4:45PM
- Ceremony at 5:30PM
- 3 Sections
- K-12 Open – For players of any K–12 grade level. All ratings welcome.
- K-6 Under 1000 – For players of any K-6 rated under USCF 1000 or unrated.
- K-5 Under 500 – For players of any K-5 rated under USCF 500 or unrated.
- December Monthly published rating will be used for pairing. (Quick or Regular)
Fee:
- Early Entry fee $45 by Nov 30, $55 after.
- No onsite registration. Registration close on Dec 13 midnight. No Exception.

- K-12 Open Section
- 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place: Cash Prize $100 / $75 / $50
- Top Under 1300: Trophy
- Top Under 900: Trophy
- K-6 Under 1000 Section
- 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place: Trophy
- 3 or more points: Medal
- K-5 Under 500 Section
- 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place: Trophy

- 1st and 2nd School Team: Trophy(based on the top 5 players’ scores across all grades from the same school)
