ICN PS 230K Hosted Team Tournament – Sunday November 23, 2025

The November Team Tournament sections will be based on participants grades as we prepare for Grade Nationals in December.

Tournament Details:

* Full Day of Child Care, Pizza Lunch Included.

* Opened to all individuals, schools, and teams in Brooklyn.

* In keeping with the safety expectations of PS 230, no parents will be allowed in the building.

* Parents can drop off at 9am, and kids will have an immersive camp-like experience with their teams and coaches.

* Please Note – The Event will be capped at 350 registrations.

* Children will be monitored at all times by ICN Staff

* Double Accelerated Pairing for Round 1

* 4 Rounds with No Elimination

* Individual prizes: Trophies & Medals in each section.

* Team prizes for Top 5 teams in Under Sections!

* Team prizes for Top 3 teams 1000+ Sections!

* We will use LIVE USCF rating to pair the event. All players must play in their designated Grade sections.

* Cheese Pizza Lunch will be provided

* Parents can send nut-free lunch and snack as desired.

*ALL ICN EVENTS ARE NUT FREE

* All sections are USCF rated and all players are required to have an active and valid USCF membership. If you are not yet a USCF member, you can register at the below link.

There will be no onsite registration. Registration will close at 6 PM the night before.

9:00 AM – Arrive in Team Room
9:30 AM – First Round
11:15 AM – 2nd Round
1:00 PM – 3rd Round
2:00 PM – 4th Round
3:30 PM – Award Ceremony will be held inside the auditorium
