Round 1 at 11 AM, then ASAP.
Online registration ONLY thru 12 PM on April 5

Sec/Rds/TC/Byes: Open and U1600; 4 Rounds SS, G/45+10; One ½ point bye for Rds 1-3;
0 point byes any round; USCF- and NE-rated.
(“Collegiate Player”: Anyone in Undergraduate or Graduate Program of Study
at college, university or other post-secondary school, including online.)

Prizes: Open: $250-$150-$100, $100 to Top U1800. Trophy to Top 3, Top U1800. New
England Champions: Plaque to Top Undergraduate and Graduate Players. U1600:
Trophy to Top 3, Top U1200, U800 and Unrated. Overall Team: Plaque to
Combined Team Champion. (Team prizes expanded if four or more teams are
registered by March 31.) Cash prizes via PayPal.

Tie break: Tie break on 4-0-0 ties: a) G/10+3 game; if drawn, b) G/3+2 game; if drawn, c)
G/5/4+2 game. Seeding, color by USCF tiebreaks. Does not affect money prizes.
Entry Fee: Register online: $65 by 3/31; $85 by 4/2; $105 by 4/4; $125 onsite by 12 PM.
GM/IM FREE by 3/31, then from prizes. Standard CSCA discounts available.

U.S. Chess, or (b) any player who (i) resides or (ii) attends school in a New England state, including online. [2]
Prizes & tax requirements. All prizes are paid via PayPal. Players winning $600 or more in a calendar year must
submit a W-9 to events.CSCA@gmail.com. [3] Refunds/Cancellation Policy: To withdraw and request a refund,
players MUST email their request to events.CSCA@gmail.com no later than Apr 1 at 11:59 PM. Refund requests
not emailed or received after deadline, will not be honored. Refunds are subject to $20 administrative fee. [4]
