17th annual World Open Under 13 Championship

Entry Fee:  $58 at 6/26, $70 later or at site.

Format: 6-SS, G/60, d10

Round Start Times:

• Mon 6/30 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm;
• Tue 7/1 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm.

Sections / Awards:

• Open Section: Plaques to top 5, top 2 each 1500-1699, Under 1500/Unr; free entry in all CCA over the board tournaments 7/18/25-12/31/25 to 1st, 7/18/25-10/31/25 2nd.
• Under 1400 Section: Plaques to top 5, top 2 each 900-1099, Under 900/Unr, free entry in all CCA over the board tournaments 7/18/25-10/31/25 to 1st, 7/18/25-9/30/25 2nd.
• Under 700 Section: Plaques to top 5, top 2 each 300-499, Under 300, Unrated; free entry in all CCA over the board tournaments 7/18/25-10/31/25 to 1st, 7/18/25-9/30/25 2nd.
• Free Entry Prize Restrictions:  Some Continental Chess tournaments have minimum rating requirements for their top sections. Other tournaments charge an extra fee, based on a player’s rating, to play in the top sections. Continental Chess free entry prizes do not cover any such additional surcharges for playing in the top section.

Notes:

• Registration ends 10 am 6/30.
• July official ratings used, unofficial uschess.org or Online Regular USCF ratings usually used if otherwise unrated.
• Cannot play below Online Regular Rating – 100 points. Limit of 2 half-point byes, must commit before round
• $15 service charge for refunds.
• Plaques must be claimed at site.
• Bring set, board, clock if possible – none supplied.
