In-person location
Our most popular tournament with up to 80 players, the Glen Rock Quads tournament takes place every Saturday at our Glen Rock Location, with the exception of holidays. Players are split into groups of four (quads) by rating, although divisions into sections of six (swiss format) are occasionally implemented circumstantially (to either accommodate numbers or better group players based on rating). In addition, we offer a $60 cash prize for winners of each section and a $15 award for swiss section runners up.
Players rated under 1000 play in G/30;d5 sections (30 minutes per person with a five second delay per turn), while players rated over 1000 play in G/45;d5 sections (45 minutes per person with a five second delay). Each competitor is guaranteed three rated games. For new players, click HERE to learn how to get an official rating.
The tournament entry fee is $30 and online registration closes at 12pm the day of the tournament. In addition, onsite registration is available on the day of the tournament from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. Both online and onsite registration will close once our maximum capacity of 80 participants is reached.
