The Kreutz Creek Quads will be held the fourth Saturday of each month at the Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Rd., Hellam Township, PA. Each tournament is limited to 40 players, so sign up now to reserve your spot!

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Registration:

• 10 – 10:30 a.m. on tournament day for last-minute entries. Please bring cash.
• Must be a member of USCF (United States Chess Federation) to play. Join USCF now at https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess.
• Limited to 40 players due to space restrictions, so sign up early!

Format:

• Quads (Group of 4 players – each player plays each other player – 3 games total)
• Time control: G/40; d5 (Players get 40 minutes each, with a 5 second delay for each move)
• Rounds: Round 1 at 10:45; Round 2 at 12:30; Round 3 at 2:15. Rounds 2 and 3 may start sooner if all players in quad agree.

Entry Fee:

• Open: $30
• Scholastic: $10

Prizes:

• Open: $100 to winner (Ties split evenly)
• Scholastic: 1st place trophy, 2nd place medal, ribbons for all players
