Open to first 160 players – Register using the link at the bottom of the page $50 per player (proceeds supporting the PS41 Chess Team)

UNRATED SECTIONS
Board and pieces will be supplied, and no clocks will be used. U.S. Chess Federation membership is not required for these sections. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Special instructions for our Unrated Sections will be presented at 10:15am in the auditorium.

No Score (Kindergarten Only) 4 rounds.
Start / Est. End Time: 10:30am / 2:30pm. This section is specially designed for K children new to chess tournaments and might not remember all the rules. Tournament Directors will guide the children and results will not be recorded. Trophies awarded to all players.

K-1 Novice (Kindergartners and First Grade) 4 rounds.
Start / Est. End Time: 10:30am / 2:30pm. Trophies awarded to winners. Medals for all other players.

2-5 Novice (2nd to 5th Grade) 4 rounds.
Start / Est. End Time: 10:30am / 2:30pm. Trophies awarded to winners. Medals for all other players.

USCF RATED SECTIONS
Players in these sections must play with a clock. Board and pieces will be supplied but bring clocks if you have them. U.S. Chess Federation membership is required for rated sections. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time.

Juniors (K-1st Grade, USCF Under 600) 4 rounds, G/40 d5.
Start / Est. End Time: 10am / 3:30pm. Trophies to winners. Medals for all other players.

Primary (K-3rd Grade, USCF Under 800) 4 rounds, G/40 d5.
Start / Est. End Time: 10am / 3:30pm. Trophies to winners. Medals for all other players.

Reserve (K-8th Grade, USCF Under 1100) 4 rounds, G/40 d5.
Start / Est. End Time: 9:45am / 4pm. Trophies to winners. Medals for all other players.

Championship (K-12th Grade, USCF 1000-1400) 4 rounds, G/45 d5.
Start / Est. End Time: 9:30am / 4pm. Trophies to winners. Medals for all other players.

Tournament Details
* Special instructions for our Unrated Sections will be presented at 10:15am in the auditorium.
* Pairing will be posted in the Playing Hall (cafeteria)
* Parents may help their children get settled in the playing hall at the start of their rounds.
* Parents should wait in the auditorium while games are played – Spectating games is not allowed.
* Second and following rounds will begin when the previous round is completed.
* Award ceremonies will take place at the completion of each section.

Lunch – Pizza
Pizza slices will be on sale or participants can bring their own food and should bring their own water bottle.

PARENTAL SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT
NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM
