Impact Coaching Network Summer Tournament Series – Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church

About Saturday Summer Tournament Series:

Our Saturday Summer Series provides the (weekly) opportunity to play three equally rated players in both a competitive and supportive environment.

Players will be paired in groups of fours, starting with our 4 highest rated players based on their LIVE rating and continuing down to our lowest rated players. We will be use only live OTB ratings

Please note that we will use LIVE OTB ratings for pairing purposes.

Tournament Details:

• Location: Luke’s, 308 West 46th Street, Manhattan, NY 10036

• Scholastic Grand Prix (AM/PM Session)

• Elite Quads (1000+ USCF Required)

• Parents are welcome to pack NUT FREE home lunch & snack

• Lunch & Snacks will not be served/provided (unless full day signup)

• August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Open to all USCF rated players Kindergarten – 12th Grade

Cost:

• $59 per player (AM, PM Grand Prix)

• $109 per player (AM + PM Grand Prix)

• $69 per player (Elite Quads 1000+ USCF Required)

• 8:45 am – check in

• 12:00 pm – 1st round

• 1:00 pm – 2nd round

• 2:00 pm – 3rd round

• 2:30 – 3:00 pm – Analysis and free play

Elite Quads 1000+

• 8:45 am – check in

• 9:00 am – 1st round

• 2nd & 3rd rounds will start 5 minutes after the completion of the previous rounds.

  Players may leave directly after the completion of their 3rd round.

  Notes: Each Quad will play 3 Rounds G60, D5

Things to Note:

• Drop-off Event

• The event is a drop-off event. Parents are required to drop-off kids at the school entrance at 9 am and pick them up at the conclusion of the event.

• TD has discretion to move players to avoid sibling pairing

• No more than 2 players from the same school in the same Group.

• No byes permitted

• All players must have a valid USCF ID #

• Please bring your own clocks

• Pairings will be based on live ratings

• If a player is late for the start of a round (indicated by the TD) their clock will be started

• 2nd and 3rd rounds will begin at the completion of your section’s previous round

• TDs reserve the right to modify quads to avoid sibling pairing or to accommodate special requests (TD discretion)

• 100 point rating variance to accommodate sibling players
