DESCRIPTION:Register: https://tournaments.gmchessacademy.com/brooklyn-quads-dec-13 \n\n\nFrom Organizer: \nFeatures\n\nWe are excited to announce our monthly chess tournament at Patterns Enrichment\, located at 217 Marcus Garvey Blvd on Saturday\, December 13. We will have quads based on rating. We will break the students up into groups of 4 unless the last section calls for a “swiss” if we have an odd number of students. \nTrophies to top winner in each quad. This is an excellent opportunity to get 3 rated chess games in and practice those skills. Check in is 10:30 – 10:45. Games will begin at 11:00 AM. \nWe will have 3 rounds at g 25 d/5. Everyone is required to have a US CHESS ID. The event is expected to be done by 1:30 PM. This event is drop off. \n\n\n\n\nRated Section\nPlayers must have a valid USCF ID. Trophy to top winner in each quad\n\n\nRated: This is for players who have a rating and a valid US Chess ID. Students will be broken into quads based on ratings. Trophy to top winner in each quad\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule\nPlease arrive no earlier than 10:30 for check in. Check in is from 10:30 – 10:50. If you are not checked in\, you will not be paired for the tournament. Clocks will begin at 11:00 AM. Expected finish is 1:00-1:30. Pizza for all participants. Quads are limited to first 32 entrants\n\n\n\n\nEntry Fee and Other Information\n\nTrophies to top winner in each quad. This is an excellent opportunity to get 3 rated chess games in and practice those skills. Check in is 10:30 – 10:50. Games will begin at 11:00 AM. \nWe will have 3 rounds at g 25 d/5. Clocks and Notation required. Notation paper and pencils provided. \nEntry fee is $36 by the Tuesday before the event. Entry fee goes up to $46 after early registration deadline
