Each tournament is limited to 40 players\, so sign up now to reserve your spot! \nTime: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. \nRegistration: \n\n10 – 10:30 a.m. on tournament day for last-minute entries. Please bring cash.\nMust be a member of USCF (United States Chess Federation) to play. Join USCF now at https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess.\nLimited to 40 players due to space restrictions\, so sign up early!\n\nSections: \n\nOpen\nScholastic\n\nFormat: \n\nQuads (Group of 4 players – each player plays each other player – 3 games total)\nTime control: G/40; d5 (Players get 40 minutes each\, with a 5 second delay for each move)\nRounds: Round 1 at 10:45; Round 2 at 12:30; Round 3 at 2:15. Rounds 2 and 3 may start sooner if all players in quad agree.\n\nEntry Fee: \n\nOpen: $30\nScholastic: $10\n\nPrizes: \n\nOpen: $100 to winner (Ties split evenly)\nScholastic: 1st place trophy\, 2nd place medal\, ribbons for all players\n\nNo food is available for purchase at the event location\, so we suggest packing a lunch.
