We are centrally located in Westchester County and are excited to bring another successful tournament to the area \nAddress: \n599 Bedford Rd \nTarrytown\, NY 10591 \n  \n Please note: This event is on a SATURDAY! \nThe Tournament will begin at 10:15 AM EST on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026. \n  \n4 Total Sections: based on age and grade: three USCF Rated Sections and 1 Novice unrated section \nK-3 Novice 1\nOpen to players in K-3\nThis division is for those who are new to tournament chess and are looking to get started with competition. Players should know basic rules of chess including piece movements\, check/checkmate and how to play a legal game of chess. Placement trophies to top 5. Everyone else will receive a trophy to mark their achievement for participating in a chess tournament.\nSTART TIME: 10:15 AM EST \n  \n4th-6th grade Novice 2\nOpen to players in 4th – 6th grade\nThis division is for those who are new to tournament chess and are looking to get started with competition. Players should know basic rules of chess including piece movements\, check/checkmate and how to play a legal game of chess. Placement trophies to top 5. Everyone else will receive amedal to mark their achievement for participation.\nSTART TIME: 10:15 AM EST \nBooster K-5 U400\nOpen to all K-5 USCF rated players rated <400\n4 rounds\, g/25 + 5 seconds\nSTART TIME 10:15 AM EST \n  \nReserve K-8 U900\nOpen to all K-8 USCF rated players rated <900\n4 rounds\, g/25 + 5 seconds\nSTART TIME 10:15 AM EST \n  \nChampionship K-12 Open\nOpen to all K-12 USCF rated players\n4 rounds\, g/25 + 5 seconds\nSTART TIME 10:15 AM EST \n  \n  \nTop 5 players will receive a placement trophy. We will have a team award trophy\, for the top team. Maximum of 3 player from each school whose score counts for the team. \n  \n  \nTournament Format: \n\nAll Sections:  Rounds will be paired after every game is completed from the previous round. We give a small grace period to input results into our computer and pair up the sections.\nAll Sections will have 4 rounds at G 25 with a 5 second delay\nPairings based on a player’s US Chess Rating and using the “Swiss Pairing System”.\n\nEntry Fee: Scholastic Sections (K-12 sections) \n\nEarly Entry by Monday before tournament: $44\nRegular Entry day before tournament by 10:00 PM ET: $49\nLast call entry: by 9:00 AM ET day of tournament: $59\n\nRefund Policy \n\nIf you cannot make our event\, we require 24 hour notice before the event begins to qualify for a refund\nRefunds will be issued in form of the entry refund less the charges we incur for processing the registration which is ~$5
