Medals to 1st-4th individuals.\nTime controls G;40;d5\, Rounds at 9:30\, 11:00\, 1:00\, 3:30 (and 5:00 if 5 rounds).\n\nOpen and College and University Section: 4 round Swiss. \n\nTrophies to 1st\, 2nd\, 1st U1600\, Top Nebraska College/University Champion.\nTime controls G/55;d5\, Rounds at 9:00\, 11:00\, 2:00 and 4:00.\n\nLocation: Boys Town National Headquarters\, 14100 Crawford ST\, Boys Town NE 68010 Free Parking is available. \nOn site or Late Registration: \n\n8:00-8:45-for the Open\, 8:45-9:15 for the High School\, 10:00-10:45 for the Elementary and 10:45-11:15 for the Middle School.\nEarly registration is very strongly recommended as Entry fees are higher at the last minute.\n\nEntry Fees if by 2/27/2026: \n\nK-5\, 6-8\, 9-12 sections $10.00 per player or $40.00 for a team of 4. $15.00 for Open and College/University section.\nYou can enter more than 4 players from the same school at a slight discount of $7.00 per player for players 5-6-7etc.\n\nOnly Nebraska Schools can win the State Championship trophies but teams from out of state are otherwise eligible for\ntrophies or medals. \n\nAny Nebraska university or college student is eligible to win the trophy in the open section if they are\nenrolled in a Nebraska college or university.\nEveryone taking part will receive a rating from the US Chess Federation reflecting their strength of play\n\nA team consists of 2-7 players from the same school or home school group. Top 4 scores are combined to determine\ntrophy winners. Individuals not playing on a team are still eligible to win the medals in their respective sections. \nYou can register and pay for teams or individuals in this event in 3 ways. For individuals you can easily pay by going to\nkingregistration.com/2026StateTeam. If you plan to register more than one individual you should fill out the form below\nand either call me with names\, ratings\, and ID #’s or send a copy of the form to me or mail it to me. You may pay the fees\nat my Square link at: https://square.link/u/mcFNkvZu or you can send me a check for the total fees. Individuals can pay\non king registration as well. If you plan to register people in multiple sections\, please fill out the form twice and be sure\nand indicate what section or grade the students are playing in. You can register a team on King Registration but you will\nneed to supply lots of information so it’s a lot easier to just register with me if you are enrolling a team of kids. \nI strongly recommend you buy the USCF memberships as needed directly from USCF ahead of time at uschess.org. If you\ngo to their website there is a tab that says\, “Join” which will list the membership prices and categories. Kids 18 or under\,\ncan join for $24.00 for a whole year. Juniors age 19-23 are $33.00 for a whole year. Adults are $54.00 for a whole year\,\nand Seniors are $45.00 for a whole year. \nYou may register your\nkids by email if you send me this completed form to gambiteer49@yahoo.com. You may also pay over the phone too if that\nis more convenient for you. \nPlease Note that students should not be dropped off unsupervised to play\, as a parent or coach should be\npresent during the tournament to keep track of the kids on their team.
