We are featuring well lit classrooms\, spacious waiting area\, COVID Safe protocols\,.\n\nWe are thrilled to offer One Unrated Section and THREE Rated Sections. \n\n\n\n\n\nUnrated Sections\nWe have 1 unrated section for players who are new to chess in grades K-3 These sections will not count for USCF rating\n\n\nNovice: Unrated: Open to Pre-K – 3rd Grade students who are Unrated. Students play 4 Rounds. If total round time exceeds 40 minutes\, clocks will be provided with 5 minutes per player. Tiebreakers will be used if necessary. Place Trophies for Top 5\, participation trophies for all other players. Approximate end time 1:30 PM.\n\n\n\n\n\nRated Sections\nWe have 3 rated sections for competitive tournament players\n\n\nK-5 Primary U400: G25/d5\, 4 Rounds. Open to all current USCF members in grades K-5 who are rated <400 using USCF Regular over the board ratings. Tiebreakers will be used if necessary. Trophies for Top 5\, Medals for all other participants.\nK-8 Booster U800: G25/d5\, 4 Rounds. Tiebreakers will be used if necessary. Trophies for Top 5\, Medals for all other participants. Open to current USCF members in grades K-8 who are <800 USCF rated using the higher of USCF Online Regular rating and USCF Regular over the board ratings.\nReserve: K-12 U1300: This section is open to players in K-12 U1300 USCF. The time control is g 25 d/5. Trophies will go to the top 5 in this section\, medals for everyone else\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\nBooster\, Reserve and Primary \nStart time – 10:00 AM \nPlease arrive on site by 9:45 AM.
