Time control of g/25;d5 for all rated sections \n\n\nRegistration and Entry fee: $40 by October 25\, 2025\, 11:59 PM Eastern Time\, $50 after. \n\n\nCheck-in starts at 8:30 AM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event to check-in. \n\n\nEquipment: Chess sets\, clocks\, and notation sheets provided​ \n\n\nAll children must be chaperoned by an adult. DESCRIPTION:Manhattan UES Grand Prix\nClick to Register \nfrom $49.00\n\nAbout Saturday Manhattan Upper East Side Scholastic Grand Prix \nOur In-Person Saturday Manhattan UES Scholastic \nGrand Prix provides a weekly opportunity to play three similarly rated players in both a competitive and supportive environment. (Quad format means players are grouped into round robins with the three players closest to them in rating.) \nPlayers will be paired in groups of fours\, starting with our 4 highest rated players based on their LIVE rating and continuing down to our lowest rated players. We will be use only live OTB ratings \nPlease note that we will use LIVE OTB ratings for pairing purposes. \nTournament Details: \n\n\nScholastic Grand Prix (AM/PM Session) \n\n\nLunch will only be served to students registered for a full AM+PM session (Parents are welcome to pack NUT FREE home lunch & snack) \n\n\nRookie Academy (9 AM – 12 PM) for players rated U300 includes a morning lesson and 3 rated rounds.
